Question 1

What kinds of products do you sell?

Accepted Answer

Traditional Indian millets and grains, whole pulses and dals, edible seeds, rice and staples, flours and rava, everyday spices, a few dry fruits, and curated combo packs.

Question 2

Why do products have both English and Telugu names?

Accepted Answer

Many families know grains by their Telugu or regional names — ragulu, jonnalu, pesalu, minumulu. Every product lists both, and you can search using either.

Question 3

Are your products organic?

Accepted Answer

We only describe a product as organic, or make any other certification claim, when it is backed by valid certification. If a product page doesn't mention a certification, please assume it isn't certified.

Question 4

Which pack sizes are available?

Accepted Answer

Most products come in two to four sizes, from 100 g for spices and seeds up to 5 kg or 10 kg family packs for everyday staples. Each size has its own price and stock.

Question 5

Can I buy a small pack to try a product?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Smaller packs are a good way to try a new millet or pulse. The Millet Discovery Box also lets you try three millets together.

Question 6

How should I store grains, pulses and flours?

Accepted Answer

Use airtight containers in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture, and always use a dry spoon. Flours keep their aroma for a shorter time than whole grains, so buy smaller packs of flour.

Question 7

Where can I find the best-before date?

Accepted Answer

The best-before date and net quantity are printed on every pack.

Question 8

We ship across India to serviceable PIN codes. Enter your PIN code on any product page or at checkout to check delivery to your address.

Question 9

Question 11

Question 12

Is it safe to pay online?

Accepted Answer

Payments will be processed by a secure, RBI-compliant payment gateway. 1grains will not see or store your card or UPI PIN details.

Question 13

Can I return a food product?

Accepted Answer

Because these are food products, returns are handled case by case — for example, if an item arrives damaged or incorrect. Please see our Returns & Refunds policy and contact us with your order ID and photos.

Question 14

How are refunds processed?

Accepted Answer

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Timelines depend on your bank or payment provider and will be confirmed in our final policy.

Question 15

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Question 16

Do you take bulk or business orders?

Accepted Answer

We're happy to discuss bulk orders for families, events and small businesses. Send us the products and quantities through the Contact page and we'll get back to you.

Question 17

Where do your products come from?

Accepted Answer

We source from farmers, farmer groups, mills and verified suppliers. Origin details are added to a product page once they have been verified. Badvel, Andhra Pradesh is our packing and dispatch base — not necessarily where every product is grown.
